the interview collection
This project emerged out of a mixture of two things. Firstly, anxiety and imposter syndrome came up in the process of applying to jobs, creating a portfolio/resume, and learning how to market myself. I wanted to create something that tackled this head-on.
Secondly, I was fascinated with the way marketers manipulate consumer self-perception with intangible product benefits. An Apple Watch isn’t just an Apple Watch. It implies you are tech-savvy and productive.
Well, why not just skip all that and just buy productivity in a box?

I created a fictional online store that viewers interact with, pretending to buy different attributes that would normally appear on a resume or a job application.
This involved brainstorming resume attributes and creating a fictional branding campaign. Some final “products” on the list include Confidence, Adaptability, Attention to Detail, and 3-5 Years of Experience.
Nothing will get by you with the help of the Brainiac Bundle. For a limited time get a deal on Analytical Skills and Attention to Detail.
